Have you dreamed of baking your own sourdough, but feel a little overwhelmed by how much there is to learn? In this class, you'll get all the information you need to start baking at home! You'll learn:
- The basics of sourdough starter (and how to keep yours alive)
- How time and temperature affect your bread
- Information about different flours, and why your flour choice is important
- How to score your own loaf of sourdough bread
In short, you'll learn everything you need to go from thinking about baking your own bread to being the friend who brings delicious fresh-baked sourdough to every event.
This class takes place at our Shea location on Saturday, August 8th from 11am to 1pm. Participants will learn to make a sourdough loaf using our new Proof Country Blend flour. Every guest takes home a fresh baked sourdough loaf, a free bag of Proof Country Blend, and a jar of Harriet, plus resources to help them with their at-home baking.
